Why you need every favicon size

Browsers, operating systems, and devices all request different icon sizes. A 16x16 icon sits in your browser tab. A 192x192 icon shows when someone adds your site to their Android home screen. Apple devices need a dedicated 180x180 touch icon. If you only provide one size, the device scales it down (or up) and the result looks blurry or pixelated. Covering every size means your brand always renders sharp.

The HTML snippet goes inside your <head> tag. The manifest snippet goes into your site.webmanifest file, which Progressive Web Apps use to define home screen icons. This tool processes everything in your browser — your image never leaves your device.
